This program robustly supports young entrepreneurs who are ready to take on challenges through overseas local training.
With the support of private companies and organizations, this program is conducted annually. From 2018 to 2022, it was held in Israel, a country that attracts global attention for its startup development. In 2023, we partnered with the University of Melbourne in Australia. Participants will gain international-level business ideation skills and have the opportunity to build networks with overseas startups, young entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and universities with cutting-edge technologies.
Before dispatching participants, we also provide intensive domestic training, including boot camps to enhance basic finance and business model construction skills, as well as English presentation abilities. This ensures participants can confidently engage in the local program.
Why not aim to become an entrepreneur who can succeed on a global stage from here?
Gain practical experience in Israel, the AI powerhouse with the highest number of startups per capita in the world, in cooperation with Corundum Innovation Co., Ltd.
Partnering with the Melbourne University Business School, participants will systematically learn within an ecosystem ranked among the top 10 in the world.

Since 2018, this program has been supported by what was originally the Exploration and Development of Global Entrepreneurship for NEXT generation (EDGE-NEXT) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), while also benefiting from the generous support of various private companies and organizations. It is thanks to this support that we have been able to send seven to eight Waseda University students to Israel each year (except when the pandemic necessitated the program being conducted online).
"Since 2022, our collaboration with the Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE) has meant that students from institutions other than Waseda University have been able to participate in the program.
We would like to ask you to consider supporting young people who are setting out on this training program.
